Meet with a lender, set a budget, and prepare your credit.

Discuss budget, research locations, set expectations, tour homes, and narrow down your options.

Make an Offer & Acceptance
Research comps, submit your best offer, and negotiate. When negotiations finish, both parties sign the contract.

Sign Purchase Agreement
The purchase agreement is signed; once the seller accepts your offer, it becomes a legally binding contract.

Complete Mortgage Application
Begin the mortgage application to request your loan. You'll authorize a credit check and confirm all financial information is accurate.

A professional inspects the property, flags any issues to work into the purchase agreement, and repairs are negotiated.
